Yesterday the Fer #1 had its first test in Belgian dirt. The bike felt really good. Losts of comfort! The relaxed seating position, together with a stable geometry, give the bike good handling characteristics. It gave me the confidence to push the pedals harder than I would normally do when I first ride new trails.
I think lots of the comfort also comes from the tires. The WTB Nano’s are super for this kind of trails. They feel a little sluggish on asphalt but that’s mostly because of the low tire pressures I’m running.
