And y'know, that's something I've been thinking about lately. Like, y'all know I like to refer to MC as a "2nd Kate" because - and I honestly don't know if this was a conscious decision on my part - girl has (or is going to) more or less endured the same thing Kate has. And, more importantly, she's shown that same fighting spirit. That unwillingness to go down without delivering one hell of a fight, no matter how hopeless the situation.
That's Kate Denali for ya, and I think that, down the line, this might play a bigger part when it comes to Kate's & MC's relationship and how we're gonna get from despising each other to-

So you’ve mentioned before in an ask and I think in one of you shorter stories that feral Tanya likes to wake MC up herself by smothering her awake basically lmao. Which made me start thinking about how each Denali would wake MC up. Like, would Kate give MC a little zap if she was being stubborn? Does Tanya get really touchy to annoy or does she think that’s how you win a humans affections? lol when Irina finally comes around I would think she’d be more gentle! Waking MC up slowly with back rubs and all that.

And listen, feral or not, Tanya loves to be overwhelming in all the good ways (and the not so good ways, lol). So, with that said-
Tanya
Like I said, the roguish coven leader loves to tickle all those good (and not so good) spots. She loves to provoke in that irritatingly charming way of hers, especially when she knows she's being too much. It also doesn't help MC's case at all that, when it comes down to it, Tanya has the patience of a firecracker. And girl longs to explode on-
WITH THAT SAID-
How MC's ever gonna get a full night's sleep in that house is anyone's guess, especially considering she'll be staying in Tanya's room for the majority of her time there. Which also means Tanya's face (or other) is the first thing to greet her in the morning (girl's living the dream fr). Or at night. Or somewhere in between cause there's no time like the present and time is a joke anyway. At least when you're immortal and too horned up to give a damn about anything but the fact that the object of your desires is spread out before you like a Christmas banquet. Time to feast.
ANYWAY-
Tanya's way of waking the hooman is rather intrusive and entirely overbearing (aka: anything not covered by furry blankets is fair game), but taken into account everything that goes on in that wicked head of hers, it's still fairly "innocent" I'd say. Like, she could stick her nose down where the sun doesn't shine the struggle is real, but she'll usually just go for the neck like a good girl hoping for permission to go bad. It's her favorite place to be anyway and rly just a placeholder until girl gets to upgrade. And really, any place she gets to stick any part of herself in is totally fine with her but some places are finer, it has to be said. So ye-
Does Tanya get really touchy to annoy or does she think that’s how you win a humans affections?
Both. And then some. Like, everything Tanya does serves the sole purpose of getting closer to MC, but her focus is likely gonna shift from "me" to "us" to "you" as time goes on.
Kate
Where Tanya annoys to bang charm, Kate annoys to annoy. She doesn't treat MC with the same delicacy as her older sister does, and that definitely carries over into the bedroom (hell yes it does). That is to say, if she's even allowed anywhere near cause you can bet your ass Tanya's gonna guard that door with her life (especially from the likes of Kate). So ye-
IF Kate ever finds herself in such a prized position, it's probably because she snuck in while Tanya was out. Well, either that or she was forced to babysit (again), lol. Both cases don't bode well for MC because Kate's gonna go in with a single goal in mind:
Being a massive asshole.
I mentioned a while back that feral!Kate is giving mean big brother vibes, so when she goes to wake up MC, she'll probably start with something entirely too innocent, like-
"Rise and shine, sleepyhead..."
Whether or not that's enough to rouse MC from her slumber is completely irrelevant because Kate shall proceed with step No. 2 regardless, which mainly consists of obnoxious whispering paired with even more obnoxious touching, like-
"Psssst! Hey! Hey, snowflake!"
And y'know, just getting real close, prompting MC to bury her face that much deeper into her pillow when strands of gold start tickling her nose.
"I gotta ask you something real important. And I-Hey! You listening?"
Something's nudging her. Hard.
...More like stabbing, really.
And well, things go back and forth a bit but, eventually, there's just no pretending anymore.
"...What?"
Silence.
Just dangerous, foreboding silence, until-
"Do you wanna build a snowman?"
...
"What-"
That's as far as MC gets before she's shrieking, body thrashing when a load of snow is dumped on her.
"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!"
And I'm telling you, girl was ready for war, knees bent, snowball poised and ready to be flung-
But Kate's already gone. Slipped through the window, most likely.
MC knows because it was left wide open.
"For fuck's-"
"KATRINA!"
Another flash of blonde catapults past her, and MC just so manages to keep from faceplanting onto the ground.
...I mean, it's a nice ground, fluffy carpet and all, but that doesn't change the fact that girl has yet to get a good night's rest in this fucking household, and it's really starting to fucking suck.
Cursing under her breath, MC goes to close the fucking window, only to realize-
It's already moving.
Slowly.
Sheepishly.
Until, eventually, it clicks shut.
MC watches, entirely unimpressed, as the coven leader blows her an apologetic kiss before whipping around with such speed, it has the window rattling in its hinges.
And then she's alone. Usually a reason to be in good spirits, but then she remembers-
MC turns to the bed, taking in the soaked covers with a sense of longing.
Girl's exhausted.
...The footrest looks usable enough. Perhaps if she-
"Oh my-What happened?!"
Carmen appears in the doorway, appalled gaze trained on the bed.
By now, the melting snow has started leaking into the carpet, dripping from the drenched covers above.
...
"Can I sleep with you and El tonight?" MC asks, pleads with wide, innocent eyes.
Not that she needs to.
Not when Carmen's face lights up before she's even finished her sentence.
"Of course!" the Spanish woman coos, manicured hands eagerly reaching for the shivering human. "Venir - let's get you warmed up, you poor thing." (Come)
And with that, MC is led straight to heaven.

However, that's just ONE way for Kate the Great to get stuff done. MC is stuff. Your idea with the zapping is spot on, too. Like, there's just days where the middle sister does not have the patience. (Especially when the human's decided to be extra difficult.) Can't always be a creative mastermind, y'know? So ye-
On those days, a little zap! here or a (not so) little slap! there will have to do. She loves spanking that bum. Quick and dirty, y'know? Her fav method.
Irina
MC might not realize it yet (for obvious reasons), but Irina's gonna be balm for that tormented soul, lemme tell ya. Like, I dunno how many times I've said this but I'll continue to do so anyway cause I'll never get tired of reminding us all of the fact that Irina's different. She's so very different from her wicked sisters, there's no doubt in my mind that if I were to sit her & MC down for some real talk, they'd be leaving that room looking like besties.
(Meanwhile, the Wicked Duo: ⁉️🤯⁉️)
...But that'd be boring af, so we're gonna have some trauma instead. And then some. Sounds good? Good.
ANYWAY-
When Irina finally comes around, she's gonna be soft and gentle and tender to the point MC's gonna wonder if her and Carmen somehow swapped bodies while she was sleeping, lol. Her touch is feather light as it wanders over MC's body, only growing more intense when it becomes clear it's doing the exact opposite of what the youngest sister is meant to do here. Sorry not sorry. She's gonna go from stroking a soft, warm cheek to gently combing her fingers through MC's hair, over and over. When that fails to do the trick, she' gonna rub soothing circles on MC's back, whispering to her in that angelic voice of hers.
"Time to get up, maličký."
Some more rubbing, some more stroking, until-
"5 more minutes..."
...
"You said that 5 minutes ago."
...
"And 5 minutes prior to that."

"Shall I get Tan-"
MC's up SO damn fast.

Carmen
(I just realized I somewhat covered this scenario in my short fic A Special Girl's Special (fucking) Day, hehe.)
Just like Irina, Carmen's gonna be impossibly gentle when she goes to wake up the hooman. But where Irina gets more impish the longer it takes to drag MC's ass out of bed, Carmen has the patience of a saint, and that's likely because she's completely in her element here. Like-
There's another ask covering this, but I fully believe Carmen always longed to have kids. And while she more or less got her wish fulfilled when she met The Sisters (and Lord knows, those three were in desperate need for someone to reign them in), it's still different with MC because girl got thrown straight into the lion's den. She stands no chance against any of them, and while Irina's (currently) the only one we gotta worry about, it doesn't change the fact that their world isn't for the fragile. Which means precautions must be taken before the hooman is allowed to roam freely. Like-
Y'know how parents make their living space baby proof by covering sharp edges, locking away potentially harmful objects, setting up gates etc? That's kinda how it's gonna be for Carmen and worse cause she gotta deal with three squabbling toddlers on top of that, lol. (Bless her. <3)
ANYWAY-
MC's likely gonna wake up to plush lips pressed against her forehead. Or a single finger gently tracing down her nose, over and over, until MC can't take no more and attempts to escape this torture by disappearing completely, swallowed by furry blankets.
Needless to say, the Spanish woman knows she's very much awake.
...God dammit.

Then there's days where MC's being extra difficult (having a load of snow dumped on you while you're sleeping will do that). On those dreadful days, it takes quite a bit more to convince the grumpy hooman to leave its nest.
Carmen knows this.

Honestly? I doubt he's ever gonna get the chance. I doubt he wants it. Not because he doesn't like MC - on the contrary. He'd never enter her private space like that, especially not when she's in such a vulnerable state. But also, it's just not his place to wake MC, and everyone in the house (himself included) knows that. Like-
Ever seen a group of lionesses protect their cubs against a male, even if that male is the father? That's kinda what this is. I mean, El wouldn't dream of harming MC, and the prid-I mean coven knows that. He's a good one, but he's still a male vampire, which means that - realistically speaking - he's the bigger "threat" to MC. He's physically a lot stronger than the ladies and could easily overpower each of them (except maybe Kate). Theoretically speaking. Cause practically speaking he's the sweetest guy.
ANYWAY-
Tanya won't allow it, is what I'm saying.

It's truly unfortunate that MC got dragged to Alaska - a place primarily known for one thing:
Denali thought of Irina(perhaps awkward transition of before she comes around and after she comes around)
Where It's after she comes around but still early days of it
And Irina desires to do like idk simple affectionate gestures like having the ability to lean her head on someone's shoulder when sitting beside them or to hold their hand
So she kind of awkwardly asks to do these things and MC is kind of scared but also confused
But also she's the LEAST annoying sister and she asked nicely so MC LETS her do these innocent simple acts of (would it be deemed?) Affection? And it's just like a chill time with Irina who's not pushing it into anything uncomfortable
And Tanya and Kate are off to the side surprised
(idk feel like Tanya would be more >:0 whilst Kate would be more confused surprised, tho they'd both try to pull what Irina did and MC straight up just shoots them down) like

In one of my recent asks, I'm talking about Irina & MC, and them making it past a certain stage. Once that happens, literally anything's possible, and there's nothing Irina wouldn't do to keep the hooman safe & sound. What I'm saying here is that, once we've made it there, there's no need for shyness or uncertainty. Neither for MC, nor for Irina. Because you see-
Gaining Irina's trust isn't easy. It requires patience, and a whole lot of balls. This means that, by the time we've made it, A LOT has happened. A lot needs to happen for those two to work, so by the time they do, there's really no need to worry about things like "awkward transition". Simply because there is none. (Or well, I suppose everything that happens BEFORE could be considered the awkward transition?? It's complicated, lol.) There's no need to be hesitant or uncertain, because by the time Irina's come around, she's come around, y'know? Once you've got Irina on board, you don't have to worry about drowning because she'll make sure you don't. She's as committed as one can be. All in. 100%. You'll be stuck with her forever. Literally. Returns not accepted. Sorry not sorry.
So ye-
They've got a long way to go, but once they've made it, they'll feel entirely too comfortable around each other to not just go ahead and hold hands. Or use one another for support - figuratively and literally. There's no need to ask for these things because they know where they stand with each other. They know it's okay.

So while Kate's busy sorting herself out, Tanya takes this opportunity to bulldoze through.
