mission day: 1426 time: 10:30 location: control room with: @nfsemenova
Figuring that sticking to her routine would be the only way to keep her moving, Carina found herself stationed in front of the comms controls. One of her first tasks of any morning was to make sure the comms system was still up and running, and with the new development she wanted to make sure that they hadn’t missed a message. It seemed unlikely they would get more communications from mission control so soon, but she wanted to stay on top of things. It would ease her mind, and there wasn’t much else for her to do but wait.
She often planned her time in the control room to make sure she was alone. Not that she had a problem with the pilot or co-pilot, or most of the others that found themselves doing odd jobs in the control room. She just preferred to do her job when it was quiet. Besides, there weren’t many people she wanted to talk to about the vote just yet. As she started to read the results of one of the many system checks she was planning on doing, she heard the door open. Of course, whatever luck she brought with her on the Argo had to have run out long ago. She pretended not to hear, her eyes still trained on the panel in front of her. If they wanted to talk, she was sure they would approach her in time.
