#fermented maple syrup

Sophie was cleaning up in the pantry and found this in the back of a shelf dust-covered. No label. When we opened it there was a release of gas that I'm assuming was CO2. It smelled really good - sweet and yeasty. Tasted good too. Probably maple syrup fermented into acerglyn.
