         while admittedly steven had never planned a wedding before, he liked to think he at least knew what it would take to throw one. he’d just need a little help --- and he still needed to tell peridot the good news! maybe he could get help and tell her all at once! yeah! that could work! tucking his notepad under his arm, steven knocked on the door of the bathroom before he pushed it open, peering inside with a smile.

      “   hey, peridot..? do you have a minute?   ”

               YOU HAVE ONLY HEARD STORIES FROM YELLOW DIAMOND’S PEARL about the peridot who insulted yellow diamond directly to her face. the insolence, the blatant disrespect...the pleading for the survival of earth. you never thought you would meet her, especially on earth whilst the diamonds negotiate with crystal gems. it’s all so...unprecedented. you’re unsure of how to take all of this.     “um...hello. i see you’ve reformed.”

     “   peridot!   ”

    the sight of peridot reforming filled steven with a fresh wave of hope, having felt tired and overwhelmed with the events of garnet’s wedding day. though he knew poofing was only temporary, it still left him feeling worried for his friends, and when he saw her reform, floating up from the cushion he’d rested her on, he let out a loud laugh, feeling happy tears well up in his eyes. rushing forward and wrapping her into a tight hug. 

      “   you’re okay! gosh, you scared me!   ”

               “YOU’RE THE PERIDOT THAT PEARL HAS SPOKEN OF.”     it was not phrased as a question, just as a statement. you still easily recall how yellow pearl had whispered of the peridot who insulted yellow diamond to her face, over the diamond line, concerning preserving the life upon earth. you remember shivering in terror, unable to imagine how yellow pearl had fared in the same room. it feels so long ago now, when yellow diamond was someone you had feared. someone who was alive.     “what can you tell us about preserving resources on earth?”

My Opinion on; ( a )

Character in general: peridot is amazing &. i love her little mannerisms of not understanding certain ‘ human ‘ things, like in reunion &. esp when she first was getting redeemed.How they play them: okay i’m just gonna. i was going to send u a nice ask earlier but i forgot im the worst but ur peridot is so good ! i hear peridot so strongly in ur writing it’s so good.The Mun: I LOVE. stan. we don’t talk a lot &. that’s a tragedy but ur such a wonderful person ! not only are you wonderful to plot &. scream to, you are so nice. i’d actually die for u.

Overall Opinion: listen if ur not following them ur limiting urself bc they are so amazing ! wonderful ! one of the reasons i ended up making this blog tbh
