it’s with his lips quirked ever so slightly that he lets the taller boy pull him in. he hasn’t the slightest idea what brought this on, but why fight jesse on something so simple? the moment was basically made for it with some ballad playing from the radio in the background, even if most of him felt completely ridiculous. he was trying to not think about that too hard.

wow, classy morrisen. but spencer had been so surprised to see the strange guy on her way home from the library the words had spilled out before she could stop them. sure, she still didn’t know everyone in hawkins yet, not even damn close, but she was about seventy-five percent certain she hadn’t seen him before. then again, spencer also wasn’t fantastic with faces unless it was something she thought was important and... school and general run-ins didn’t really make the list. and she was pretty sure she’d remember his face if they’d met before.
