I understand that due to staff shortages and construction at Coleman Dock in Seattle, WSF is running on reduced and from the website it would seem rather erratic schedules. Good luck for those who must cross from Kitsap County to Seattle!

Long Wharf, Oakland, Yerba Buena Island in background c.1870 ____ This massive railroad wharf and ferry pier, located at the foot of Seventh Street, was acquired and extended by the Central Pacific Railroad in 1868 to transport freight to San Francisco. It served as the western terminus of the first Transcontinental railroad when it was completed in 1869.
