Ohoho they let me into China (well, past the immigration gate at Kowloon West HSR anyways... harrowing experience trying to get the online registration form to send cause the station wifi kept refreshing, but at least the agent seemed mildly pleased by my Mandarin).

Ironically the pan-Asia travel SIM I got in Taipei, which should bypass the Great Firewall, seems to soft block tumblr since it's roaming on a Thai network. How productive will I be for a week with no morning phone scroll! Time will tell...

#ironically my preliminary online application to get a chinese L visa in hk was rejected #i was trying to obfuscate my gender transition so they didn't ask for extra paperwork regarding that #cause on reddit they say that's a whole pain in the ass #i thought i was getting away scot free with the 240 hr TWOV thing #then the agent was like 你更新了性別嗎 #i said 對 #and that was it she did not give a fuck #更新 sounds good imo #我沒有跨性別我更新了性別 #i can retry for the L visa online form i just did not have time to wait again for the review #in the end i was far too tired after moving to deal with that anyways
