Palandine's name really bothers me because it just does not fit at all with the previously established Cardassian naming conventions. She sounds like a Star Wars character. Why is she called that! If there is an actual reason feel free to correct me but as is it is something that I am always annoyed by in the back of my mind

Sometimes I think, deeply, Star Trek Deep Space Nine might be one of the genuine best pieces of media created. This is of course very biased but I do believe the ideas and messages of DS9 are so, so important. Obviously this doesn't apply to every episode, but as a whole it is just such a meaningful show
The tos movies are so good I can't believe I managed to slog through the draining and quite frankly often complete garbage actual series to get to these beautiful celebrations of humanity.... do not get me wrong tos does have a collection of great episodes which I did genuinely enjoy but when it's bad it is baaaaad
Just watched the Search for Spock (finally got around to the tos movies yayyy) Jesus Christ I was not prepared for that level of open yearning that was crazy
