It's time to make a change in your wardrobe and fashion habits. In 2015 @lalatrips directed me to a documentary called @truecostmovie. The documentary is an in depth look at how companies corrupted by greed and ignorance effect our lives by using unethical work practices, procedures that destroy our earth, and inhumane working conditions. #truecostmovie changed my life and opened my eyes to the reality of unethical fashion. After doing some research I found @fash_rev in association with the documentary, Promoting fashion designers who have enlightened working conditions with earth friendly practices. This is when I decided to no longer blindly purchase anything in my wardrobe. As a designer myself I have decided to take a stand with Fashion Revolution to support local designers and spread the word about realities of conditions and procedures big business try to hide from their consumers. Inform yourself by watching the documentary and take a stand by becoming conscious in your life as a consumer or a designer. There is enough room for everyone to be treated with respect and dignity while preserving this wonderful earth we share with one another. Hand drawn and eco screen print garments by @jwhiteoriginal.
