books are something lio assumed they’d never get their hands on again. or at least if they did, it would be something they immolate almost instantly. libraries were satisfying to burn down; it kept the flames quiet for a while. but... those are plans for tomorrow. they felt an odd nostalgic craving for some dragon books. it’d be nice to look at them after seeing the world through that lens.
...it’d be even nicer if they didn’t have to literally climb the bookshelf to get to what they’re looking for. and practically heaven if they didn’t have this horned weirdo giving him the most passive-aggressive stare in the world. “ is there something you fucking need? ” snapped with no regard for a library’s noise etiquette.
