Binler selam ve dua ile...
Hagia Sophia was a originally a church which was sold by the caretakers to a Muslim emperor, Fetih Sultan Mehmet. As such, the Aya Sophia was the personal property of the Byzantine emperor. By tradition, after the fall of Constantinople, all the property of the old emperor belonged to the new emperor but the Sultan still bought it as a sign of honour. Mehmet II transferred this from his personal possession to an endowment for a Masjid. That is why only this structure was converted to a Masjid and not the hundreds of churches and synagogues which still stand in Istanbul to this day because those were not the emperors possessions but belonged to Christian or Jewish trusts. Is converting it back to a Masjid bad for public image? Yes. Is it illegal? No. Does Europe have any right to complain? Definitely not, considering that hundreds of Masjids have been converted to Churches and Opera Houses after the Muslim population was expelled from the Balkans and Spain. In 1935, the Aya Sophia was forcibly and oppressively secularized into a museum by Mostofa Kemal Pasha. The murder of many Muslim scholars and the implementation of a lot of oppressive anti-Islamic laws also took place around the same time. This reversion rolls back and helps undo the oppressive secular leftovers of the regime of Mostofa Kemal Pasha. The details of the renumeration are still saved in the Turkish museums.
Şükür RABBİM kavuşturana.. bugün ne mutlu bir gün kii.. İki fethi bir arada yaşıyoruz.. 🍃🌼
