Do you all normally measure fever from the mouth or armpit or other ways?

I was curious since where I'm from, temperature is measured with the thermometer in the armpit and it seems to be the norm here. However, reading sickfics and watching mostly English-speaking media I've noticed thermometer in the mouth is the common image. In other countries, depiction varies and I know there's other places to measure temperature from.
