Here we go with some punk/ska, the band Destroyers (擊沈女孩) with their newest song. Rowdy fun, and sung in English - I wonder if singer 譚家輝 Jon Hom has lived in the US or Canada? Shao-Yong from Dark Paradise Records told me that Destroyers have 2 members of the defunct band Fever Trend. Jon Hom also led the band The Looking Glass. The drummer 老外 plays with 怕胖團 Papun and other bands. Watching this clip, it is a wonder that none of these crazy people chipped their teeth - maybe it's all the dental work I've had recently, but this was somewhat horrifying for me, LOL!

Listen/purchase: Things I Never Told by Fever Trend The is the band Fever Trend. They broke up last year, sadly, but there's never a bad time to listen to a good song! We actually posted about this ep last October, but I heard it again today, after seeing it linked on Dark Paradise Records. (Dark Paradise is the label for Ma-te lin.) I'm trying to find out if the Fever Trend band members are now in other bands. If I'm not mistaken, I think the singer 小壞 used to be in the band HappyCircle several years ago. You can hear a bunch of their songs at StreetVoice, an ep from 2009. If you like the acoustic Fever Trend song, you will also like the HappyCircle songs; 4 of the 5 on that ep are acoustic. --------------------- Many bands only list members by nickname in their info pages, this makes it difficult to stalk them gather information. And a lot of nicknames begin with 小 Xiǎo (little/small), so if you do a Google search, you get all sorts of... unrelated results, LOL.

Following on from the previous post, here is Fever Trend. This video is from a 2012 gig, and the only reason why we're seeing it today, is because Muse LCD has been uploading a LOT of video from pre-2013. (this is in addition to current concert clips) I'm not sure if the older shows are re-uploads, or maybe a consolidation of channels -- your guess is as good as mine! There are 2 more songs from this gig to see at the Muse LCD channel, and plenty of clips from other Fever Trend gigs as well, just head back to YT.

Listen/purchase: Move On by Fever Trend

Fever Trend is/was an alternative rock/emo pop band from Taipei. According to their facebook, they decided to disband in March. What a drag, I think they had great promise. =(
