I wanted to adapt one of my favorite scenes from book 7. I did my best to ensure accuracy.
The biggest problem with him was probably his suspicious nature, which had fused to the back of the allegiance he had toward his master. As Imperial Marshal Mittermeier once opined, ‘Von Oberstein thinks every important vassal besides himself is a sleeper agent for some rebellion,’ and that remark was very much on point.
