genuinely forgot that this blog should a be a space for me to talk about food fantasy other than my DMs with close friends and get surprised that there are no posts about the common-food-fantasy-info-in-my-discord-mutuals

anyways, madeleine is implied to be trans !! if you read the CN wiki, her backstory has this tidbit that she was never allowed to wear dresses when she was put into the army

the reason why this detail sticks out is that, a majority of food souls—specifically women, have always been allowed to fight in dresses and feminine clothing, why did madeleine specifically run into this issue ?? (the typical answer would be "her MA believes that frilly dresses aren't suited for war")

however, there's an important detail in the CN version of the story; she refers to her "past self" with the chinese character for he/him pronouns 他

throughout the rest of the present story (post-unknown-war), madeleine exclusively uses she/her 她

in other words, her master attendant was a transphobe that couldnt bear the thought of their food soul being a trans woman and now madeleine is dancing on her MA's grave

Food Fantasy Monocolored Series 8/?

Final two drawings for today, they’re a bit old but I still want to post them.

First up is Madeleine and Lamb Chop, they were both in the recent wonderland event and I couldn’t resist a quick doodle of them. I was lazy with hands and such, but really only planned to use this as a personal reference.

Second drawing is more recent and relates to my Food Fantasy human AU. Inspired once again by the Wonderland Event, I wanted the witches mentioned in the Tea Party to be a friend group.

Depicted from left to right is: Cookie. Fruit Tart (Back), Surströmming (Front), and Madeleine.

In the AU, the four have an obsession with the occult and magic. They tried to start a club at school but the teachers weren’t keen on the idea of ritual practices and such in their building. Instead the girls just go to Sürstromming’s house and hold their club there. Her dad is more supportive of their activities than her mom, however they still have ground rules such as “no blood rituals.”

For those curious, Surströmming’s family is going to be the main focus of the AU, for which I will eventually make it’s own Tumblr Blog... Just need to finish hammering out a few more details.
