and for my next trick I will yap about my rin-sae au... NOT a ship... also it was previously named 'my September' but ermm no.
'The Second Spring Rin Died.' Is the story about how Rin killed himself on his birthday - September 9th. And now, unable to move on and overcome with grief and ancestral wrath, Rin haunts the childhood home he and Sae grew up inside.
The book is a paranormal & horror fan-fiction, and it's gonna be extremely immersive and have a super, slow slow - painfully slow, slow burn.
The beginning tells of Rin & Sae's early adventures together—keep in mind its paranormal centric so I will script that Rin was a psychic of sorts and could see things that weren't there and Sae could too, but instead of seeing them he could feel and hear them. These earlier chapters tells of Rin & Sae's early relationship, their little quirks and etc. There'll be mentions of things that will be relevant later in the story.
In the middle of the story, it tells of the deterioration of their relationship. It goes into detail of the way Sae began pulling away, becoming cold and cruel to his little brother.
And then the story pushes into how their relationship just started exploding and shattering into a million pieces. Then it becomes Rin-centric & details how Rin spiraled for months and his mental health deteriorated. Rin had always been a violent minded kid despite his calm exterior, and he would say sometimes he wanted to die when he was younger, and he developed strong anger issues when he became a teenager.
And then it tells of the day he killed himself.
Then the later parts of the story tell of Sae's grief, his regret, his longing, the what ifs, all of that. Then it goes into detail about how all of a sudden things are weird around the house and then he discovers that Rin is still haunting the place and is obviously an extremely wilted and vengeful spirit.
Now I should mention, I'm going to keep the fact that the itoshi brothers played soccer, but the au would be a modern au. I couldn't imagine a canon blue lock without him being number one, so there is that. I will also be including other blue lock characters and my own ocs will have cameos in the story as well..
The name of the book is called the second spring instead of the first autumn because while Rin ended his life at 16 in the fall, Sae didn't truly come to terms and accept that it was his fault for his brother's death until the second spring after Rin's death came around. To make it worse, Rin's favorite season was always spring.
After Rin's suicide, Sae lived in denial for months and spiraled into nothingness. He isolated himself, starved himself and mentally broke himself. The worst part is, Rin wrote a suicide note and he detailed how upset he was about everything that happened between them. Sae chose to hide the note away and keeps it stored somewhere and read it everyday after Rin died.
No one knows why Rin killed himself, and on top of the grief of losing your closest family member, he has to live with that guilt eating him alive all hours of the day, and all days of the years he will be alive,
outliving his younger brother.
