The giant Magicite pieces are in the shop! I produced about a dozen more since they sold out so quickly last time.

I think I’m done with resin crafting for the foreseeable future. For one thing, I’m out of resin. For another, I’m ready for a break and to put my attention somewhere else. I really enjoyed producing this new lot, though. Each was has something unique about it that makes it truly one-of-a-kind.

Edgar update

Of course it was lost again. So we are going to try this 1 step at a time. Honestly, Tumblr I'd like to make 1 post where you don't loose everything I type the second I hit the post button.

Anyway, here's the update!

I've started casting the 80 million little detail pieces for Edgar. I'm using foam clay and silicone fondant molds.

If you're unfamiliar with foam clay, it's like a goopy play dough that is moldable/shape-able. It sounds like it should be horribly messy, but isn't. Once it dries it's like EVA foam and is paintable, flexible, and light wight.

This was my first attempt. The flowers for his armor came out great, and the wings for his shoes turned out alright. The braided cord however came out kinda sad. Whomp.

That didn't stop me though! And my second try came out much better!

Which is great, cause I need about 10 for just the belt and each one needs to cure for 48 hours! No idea how many I'll need for his shoulder snd chest armor yet. (I'll cross that bridge when I get there).

Currently I've got cord #3 and the second sets of flowers and wings in their molds, as well as the first set of curly-ques for his belt.

Does tumblr have an image limit I don't know about? We are back to losing my post when I try uploading with another image again. It's super annoying!

I'll make another post with the rest.
