You've said most of the game is with Real Cloud, so we can assume LSS is happening in the first few chapters. And UtWH happens near the end. I hope there's more Cloti scenes because we're going to need a lot more Cloti goodness in between. I'm also hoping for more Zack and Tifa scenes outside of ZA and CT. Those two deserve to shine.

Hamaguchi revealed we get the HW between 4-6hrs in depending on how much you faff about, so that takes us up to Junon. Tifa is party leader for 2hrs after that, but again that time could be extended depending on how long you take doing other stuff.

After that I'm not sure if we still switch to Cid as leader for the first huge materia mission, but if we do then that's another 1-2hrs plus whatever on side content. After that we return to Mideel, deal with the weapon we saw in the trailer and then go into the lifestream scene, which is another whole chapter long.

So we'll get real Cloud about 10hrs into the game, and if it's 50-60hrs for the main scenario like the rumours suggested on twitter, then we have Cloud for longer than Remake and Rebirth's base gameplay time of 40hrs.

So all that means everyone gets to see Cloud simping and flirting with Tifa for 40-50 hours 🤭

Silver, I’m so sorry if this is a stupid question but I’ve been seeing people talk about an interview, around the time of the release of AC I think, where Kitase says “maybe things would worked out better for Cloud with Aerith and how Tifa and Cloud’s relationship is more difficult because of their shared history” or something and now some people are saying that quote is fake and some say it’s true and some say it was mistranslated. It was from the Ultimania Omega 2005. I was just wondering if you knew anything about this because I’m so confused if it’s a real quote or a fake one. And if it is real, what is your interpretation of it?

This is the interview with Nojima where he was asked this dumb question and he replied with "maybe things would've worked out but Aerith's burden is too great" and then goes onto say the kids will help Cloud and Tifa work things out.

Basically, for the chronically stupid, Nojima is saying that things wouldn't work out between Cloud and dead boring because her interest is more towards her duty as a cetra than taking care of all Cloud's personal issues. Basically, she'd ditch him inside of a week because he's too needy and she can't look after a herself let alone a grown ass man with psychological trauma who thinks having fun is going for a quiet walk or helping the kids with their homework.

And either way she is forever dead, so who gives a fuck? Cloud is with Tifa.

So, Hamaguchi was attempting to play coy about Revelation leading into AC and was completely oblivious to the fact that Kitase and Nomura already revealed it in past interviews? *Sighs* The guy needs to stay in the loop more with his fellow developers. Oh well, at least the theorybros can finally shut the hell up about the "multiple timelines" or "AC leads into the Remake timeline because time travel" BS now.

They should really keep a list of important details they've dropped so this type of thing doesn't happen.

I think even from a marketing pov they know it's easier to accept Tifa is the heroine and she is the most loved one. I'm even seeing people advising to skip rebirth and jump straight to Revelation lol, all those hours with Pink will be for nothing. Maybe these should have been 2 games? Rebirth is way too filler heavy and is definitely going to scare people away from Revelation (it already happened with XIII, the sequels are way better but people won't reach those thanks to XIII being bad)

They probably should've done Remake and Rebirth as a single game, but it would've taken longer to develop and they would've had to cut a load more content to get it down to a manageable size.

It's done now anyway, and Remake is a solid game, Rebirth is mid and Revelation is gonna be peak.

it's fine that her latest EC gear's black bc it matches with cloud's and as someone said, looks as if they swapped jackets (just a theory) but I really don't want her main game alternate outfits to be primarily black

white I can still get behind, bc it's her main color imo, and it's generally the color of heroines in video games. still I'd like to see some more variation in color (and wearing white among snow is?..) I want a yukata outfit to wear in wutai for example, and I would be very happy if it was primarily red or purple or even blue but not black please 😭 not again

I honestly don't know what outfits they have for the glacier, but I think it'd be impossible to put them in white on white scenery. They'll disappear 🤣

i know about certain scene that was supposed to be in rebirth but got postponed so it won't overshadow someone but it got me curious when exactly are they gonna put this scene in the next game i'm trying not to say it but i'm really curious 👀

and if you know what im talking about is it actually still there?

I know about an event yeah, and I've heard a couple contradicting bits of info about where it'll take place so i won't guess which is right, but it absolutely is in Revelation.
