Hello. I did a thing AKA "AU where Room 202 is occupied by a tenant and Tifa offers her room for Cloud to crash into.
“You failed to mention you have a single bed.”
“… I did.”
“I—I’ll take the floor.”
“No! I’ll take the floor. I’m the host.” Tifa closed her eyes and sighed. She honestly forgot where he would be sleeping. It was just her luck that the tenant next door settled in just a week before.
“You sure you aren’t just planning to get me out of my clothes?” Cloud smirked at her. A good-natured smile creased his face when Tifa’s face burned red, and he immediately ducked when her pillow flew across the room.
“I didn’t mean it that way!”
In the end, they both agreed to share the bed.
“It’s enough to fit accommodate us both –but no malicious intent, okay!”
“Agreed.” Cloud nodded, of course he wouldn’t disrespect her and her generosity, though his heart thumped wildly at this wild turn of events.
“Also, just be warned that it gets chilly at night so I might hog the blankets.’

FF7 Party Roles Swap AU I wanna write
After “Reckoning” is finished I’m mulling over a role swap AU. So far I’m thinking:
Tifa is the SOLDIER, Cloud is a member of AVALANCHE
Barret is the ShinRa Director of Urban Development, Reeve is the leader of AVALANCHE
Shera is swapped with Cid - she’s the lead on the space program, and joins AVALANCHE in his stead
And then some characters is less about swapping their roles but more their circumstances:
Nanaki taken into custody much earlier...when Vincent is a Turk. They bond during their time, and Nanaki helps save Vincent from Hojo’s attack. As a result, Vincent never dies/becomes Chaos, they escape together and live on the run, so Vincent is his real age in this version of events.
Gast and Ifalna escaped Icicle Village and made it to Wutai, raising Aerith as a member of AVALANCHE. Godo however is killed, and Yuffie taken as a POW into ShinRa’s custody for some time (being ‘looked after’ by the Turks).
I still need to do some tinkering with what Sephiroth/Zack are up to but so far I’m loving the potential of this...
