Can... can I ask about the forgotten fourth au???
Where did the idea for it come from? How did it develop? What's your favourite overall aspect of the au?

The idea came from a tweet from a mutual of mine, which I previously have talked about here!
I developed the story through a lot of thinking way too hard and rambling to @/smilesrobotlover here on tumblr to try and figure out a cohesive storyline and details. That was also two years ago. Its been a while lmao. Now that im thinking about getting back *into* the story, ive thought a lot more about how i can best portray the storyline and what would make the comics more visually interesting and clearer to the reader. Aka, ive asked myself, “is this story even good, and how do i make it better?”
As for *my* favorite aspect of the au… i suppose it’s probably the villain. Who i just cant name quite yet :) i suppose youll find out!
What if Red wakes up from his dreams often, not necessarily nightmares but just dreams. Usually he just goes to the washroom and go back to sleep, or look out the window for a bit before getting back into bed.
One night, he wakes up and sees two red eyes glowing in the dark. He quickly lights a candle to see that it's just Vio watching him sleep.
He thanks Vio for looking out for him, relaxing and getting out of his bed. Instead of being weirded out by the situation, he moves a chair next to his bed and guides Vio to sit down, then holds the redeads hand as he gets back into bed and goes back to sleep.
When Green goes to wake Red up in the morning, Vio is still holding his hand, watching Red with his head rested against the back of the chair.
This isn’t exact what you asked for but I got like way too carried away but but this and the comic are canon to forgotten fourth btw

In ffau does Vio eat? And if so, what’s his favorite food?

He doesnt eat anymore-or he shouldnt- but when he was alive? Boy lived off of homemade ramen.
What are some other things that Vio has reacted to? Does he seem to ‘listen’ to conversations or are objects the only thing that get a reaction?

Ik you've said that they can't rejoin, even once vio is "back". But I'm so curious what it'd be like for them to join back and have like 1/4th of themselves dead. And then idk how u personally headcannon them rejoining, but if you imagine it as them all seeing each other memories and stuff, imagine the damage that would inflict on the living trio to become so intrinsically intertwined with a corpse. Not to mention maybe they'd get a bit of insight into Vio tho, maybe even second hand witness a certain event that would surely traumatize the poor guys further
