I love how, in the fs manga, Blue, Red, and Vio make the most ridiculous faces, like incredibly crazy and insane, but without fail, Green always looks the most heroic and serious lol

I made these last night (kind of this morning?) and then passed out, I’m still not the happiest with Green’s regular outfit (not calling it casual he does not know rest)

Designer notes below

Here I go.

Green's got a generic linen shirt, a more toned-down version of Vio's. He's got the sleeves pulled up so cause he's ready at all times to do anything. He's got a corset for bad posture and some loose-ish pants. All very generic.

His boots are made for walking and running, they do not have heels. He's got bags under his eyes from anxiety induced insomnia. His hair is windswept and the only comb he uses is his fingers. He doesn't want to cut it, so he puts it in a braid and hopes everything ends well (he'll usually ask the other three for help with it).

Also he wears his knight piercings (headcanon) even when not on duty. He says it's just convenient but he never takes them out.

ok so

I tend to like practical outfits. But I just had to. put Green in heels. He's perfectly comfortable wearing them as a knight! He knows he's good at it and the heels are to show his confidence. That he always has control over himself in the situation.

I also wanted to add some wind motifs in his armor and kind of his regular outfit. He's always wearing a choker with the wind symbol on it. He's trapped by freedom in a way. He serves to grant others freedom but he's not quite sure he has it himself. He feels duty bound, but he would feel awful if he couldn't do it.

Red's wearing a sort of mage's cape with an upside down elemental fire symbol keeping it together. He also wears a scarf with a hood attached to it on top of the cloak. He, like all the others wears a sort of poets shirt, but you can't see it underneath all the stuff he's wearing.

Red's over tunic is replaced with (what I'm pretty sure) is a sort of armor padding. He's not confident in his ability to keep himself safe, even when he's practicing magic. He has a tendency to look down on himself, even if he doesn't really realize it.

Both the puffy poets shirt and his baggy pants are cuffed up by his long fingerless leather gloves and boots. He is not as carefree as he lets on. He knows that there are things going on and he's not quite sure how to help.

He wears the heeled boots to give him a feeling of confidence that he doesn't have. He doesn't feel free, doesn't feel particularly confident, he doesn't feel skilled. But he's trying his best with what he's got.

He's got fire symbol earrings! They're also upside down. Since fire typically symbolizes passion and love I thought it'd be fitting for them to be upside down since right now all his efforts to help (out of love) end up as just friendly-fire.

Shivers

LOZ Fic Fight! This is for @playingforward. Enjoy!

Prompt: Four Swords Manga, all of the Colours return to living in one body after sheathing the Four Sword but do not fully integrate into one identity: Nearly freezing to death during his adventure took a toll on the part of Link that was Blue. The rest of them attempt to comfort and take care of him during a particularly cold, drafty day. Suggestions: holding hands, making tea, blankets, reading.

They shivered fiercely as another curl of cold air came in through the gap in the window. It was still late fall; there wasn’t any snow on the ground yet, but the air bit their ears even in the middle of the day. 

Red didn’t think it was all that cold, but Blue kept grabbing hold of the body when he shook. Privately, as privately as they could manage like this, Green thought that the feeling of dread that iced up their spine had more influence over the shivering than the temperature itself. If Blue was simply chilly, his shivers wouldn’t vibrate him into control the way they were now. Vio had just managed to lay a proper fire in the hearth before being inadvertently pulled back for another bout of shaking.

”I’m trying to help,” he complained aloud.

”I’m not d-doing it on p-purpose,” Blue grumbled. There was none of his usual bite.

Red rubbed their arms in an approximation of a hug. He agreed with Green that the pulling of their minds was a sign of something deeper than normal cold. It was a cold deep in their bones. If Red tried to dig in their shared memories, he might be able to find the source. He left it alone for now, though. They could talk to Blue when the sun was high and summer wrapped around them. Now was for comfort.

Green walked them to the small kitchen, still in view of the fire, and pulled out a mug. Making tea was a slow affair - every time the draft glided by, Blue ended up in control, and his hands shook too hard to be useful. Eventually, though, they managed to get water and a teabag safely back to the small couch in front of the fireplace.

Red grabbed ahold of the throw blanket as they sat, and he was silently proud of Blue for having the presence of mind to wrap it around his shoulders.

The only sounds were the irregular pops and cracks of the logs and the chattering of their teeth. Their shoulders were tight, tense, and the tea in their mug was sloshing dangerously. Vio tried not to think about how uncomfortably sweaty they were getting, not that Blue was really listening anyway.

After a few minutes of Blue not feeling any better, Green started humming quietly. It was stilted and clumsy around their chattering teeth, but they all recognized the simple folk song. It wasn’t anything special, just the first one he’d thought of, but it was better than silence.

Blue didn’t react immediately, but Vio started tapping their fingers on the side of the mug in time with the humming. Red let their head bob and tilt, like he was dancing. 

Slowly, Blue’s shivering eased a bit, and his death grip on the blanket loosened. The next time the draft wafted over them, Blue flinched, but he stayed back, and the awkward dance continued.
