um idk if anyone still checks these tags or if anyone can help buttt

i've recently started playing rof again, and I'm on my third round thru single player, on level 80

for some reason I don't get any EXP except for in River Belle

(I'm up to Vaal mountain second time, so idk if later places will give me exp or not)

anyone know if this is a common thing and i guess part of making it a harder game? i cant find anything online except for one useless answer
