my first piece for @reminiscezine!

I knew I wanted to do a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles piece, but I was torn between Ring of Fates and Echoes of Time for a while. I have loads of memories of playing the EoT multiplayer with friends, and I sank so much time into that game as a kid, but I decided to go for RoF in the end because it was the first game I ever picked for myself when I first got a DS, and it got me into the Final Fantasy series as a whole, and that’s a series that’s still very important to me.

I remember the things that made me want to get it were the cool stained glass style cover art (that wasn’t used on the cover of the european release >:( ) and Kumi Tanioka’s amazing music.
