Blogging and multi platform update
Yay! Looks like I have finally managed to copy all of my long femslash fic recs to my new WordPress Blog.
This was way more work than I had anticipated - although the tumblr importer has worked in principle. It was just not that useful for the way I had build my tumblr blogs and I ended up doing a lot of manual copy & paste.
The short fic recs and my femslash history will need to wait a while longer. I will probably not have time or energy for this for a while.
As I said before, I will stay here on tumblr as long as things are ok for my blog. The other blogs are additional / precautions.
Now that I have worked with tumblr, WordPress and Pillowfort, my experience is that tumblr is really weird how it treads text formats compared to the other two - and works the least well for long text posts. And Pillowfort is still a bit buggy - not that tumblr had ever stopped being buggy ...

I want to do a Kara/Lena - Supercorp fic rec list for femslashreviewfest. I have more material and notes, but I have limited time and will most likely only manage one. (I also have plans for another ship).
While I am not sure if all of these would really work out right now, I am curious what your preference would be. There is a good chance that I will do most of the other ones as well, eventually.

Maybe it is time
I love Supergirl femslash. There are many wonderful authors and people in this fandom - even if I fail to understand the ship wars.
But it might be time to start ignoring the show - definitely time to start ignoring the actors - and focus on femslash fanfiction and fanart.
It's not that I have not done this before. Buffy had 5 good seasons that gave us a lot of background for wonderful fic - long after the show ended.
Maybe it's time to be thankful to the Supergirl show for giving us wonderful characters like Cat, Alex, Astra, Lucy, Maggie and Lena (I know they did not invent most of them for the show - but they completely re-imagined them); and a wonderful version of Supergirl (at least initially).
But maybe it is time to leave the show behind and continue to tell the stories the characters and fans deserve. Move on from the Show, but not the fandom.
