Fun thing about going to a con in a big city is that there's always a Hatsune Miku cosplayer you can follow through the public transport system like a North Star

Guy in front of me on the train to Long Island cosplaying Bruno Bucciarati having an impassioned phone conversation about anchovy pizza
artist: *makes something even slightly interesting and cool*
person in a pinterest comment section: lol ummmmm okayyyy 👁👄👁 what kind of drugs did they take when they made this ☠️☠️☠️ I— 😭🤚
my buddy Tony who hides dead fish in the air vents of people who are boring and annoying: *pulling out a comically large wet burlap sack with cartoon stink lines emanating from it and beginning to trudge towards their place of residence* Can you pause the mov— yeah. Thanks. Do you mind pausing it? Sorry. I'll be back in a few. Yeah it's trout. I'll make it quick. Love you
JoJo art idea: Stands being rendered in a different art style than their users, be it subtly or drastically, especially when they're side-by-side. As like a way to visually emphasize their strangeness and otherworldly-ness, and how they're beyond the comprehension/perception of like 99% of people in-universe. Or just because it's funny tbh. Stand user drawn in a stylized cartoony manner with a painterly, semi-realistic looking stand, for example. User drawn with very smooth, clean lines but their Stand is grainy and blurred at the edges. 2D drawing of a user with a 3D model Stand. Or vice versa. Is this anything
I dont even remember where I first saw this image but it affects me like a fucking disease. Every time I see it I become mentally incapable of thinking about anything else. Do you think the person who typed this out knew that the words "bungo hoopy booby serving count" are my sleeper agent activation code. Dare I say the worst part is that in that image he is indeed serving count
In light of Valentino's shitty AI ad and this new fashion magazine I just saw that uses exclusively AI generated images and calls it "groundbreaking", I just keep thinking about the incredible dissonance between this manufactured ideology that generative AI is cool, stylish, or boundary-pushing, and the reality of what genAI actually is. They're trying to sell me on the idea that it's fashionable and cool. I can imagine few things LESS COOL than AI generated content. Because not only does AI imagery get overwhelmingly met with disgust and disdain by the kinds of people you're trying to impress with this marketing, but also because there are three kinds of people that I *actually* associate generative AI with:
-Small unsupervised children with iPads watching eyestrain YouTube Shorts of the Disney princesses eating rainbow glitter slime for hours on end
-Boomers commenting "Amen ❤️ God is Good 🇺🇸🦅" under a video of Bigfoot hugging a statue of Jesus made out of cheese or some shit
-Mark Zuckerberg
AKA the three of the least "cool" types of people I can possibly fathom. And it doesn't matter what the images actually look like, or if they're believable, or if you show me an AI dress I might've actually liked if it was real, because ALL AI GENERATED IMAGERY just looks and feels like rainbow slime and Cheese Jesus on principle
Rewatching Diamond is Unbreakable rn and I forgot that in Rohan’s first episode he essentially reads the plot of DiU up until that point via Koichi's memories and then goes "Woah, this is the coolest shit I've ever read, I need to write a manga about this!" Making a self-insert who compliments how good you are at writing the story he's in.... drawing yourself and that character hugging tenderly.... Araki nobody is doing it like you
Stumbled upon this network of JoJo blogs from like 2011-2012 and I feel compelled to excavate some of the real gems that haven't gotten a single note in 12+ years
