a year ago exactly, i was joining fftumblr as lebreau. i knew next to nothing about her, aside what little information that was given in the ffxiii datalog, and i had no other reason to play her other than the fact that she looked hot and that i just wanted to roleplay.
on my very first night, i was welcomed like i'd always been a friend. i remember going to bed extremely late after laughing my ass off because of toying around with snow (ie. the bald jokes) with the help of rygdea, who later (...two weeks) became her boyfriend, and that lasted a whole six months.
during that time, she became extremely good friends with ashe (who, back as tidus, was the main reason why i decided to go ahead and join fft) and yuj's boyfriend/it's-complicated, cid (and later, kuja...that's complicated too). she also almost castrated prompto simply because he was too hot.
i've been able to develop her character thanks to hours of playing with the amazing people mentioned above, among so many others, and i've become incredibly invested in the way i've shaped her and the many headcanons i have concerning her and the rest of team nora. and the reason why i can link to personal accounts, after a whole year, is because lebreau's friends have also become a huge part of my life out of character. i consider them all close friends (again, among so many others), and there isn't a day where i'm not thankful for where fft has brought me, because my year would've been a whole lot different, and especially more boring, if it weren't for them.
lebreau, too, is now a major part of my life. roleplaying her has changed me, in a way; i've always been a writer at heart, and even the characters you haven't created become a part of you, maybe even imaginary friends. she, combined with various events in my personal life that have happened in this past year, have changed who i am for the better, and that's another thing i'm thankful for.
so, tl;dr: what i mean to say to fft-ers, past and present, is that i want to thank every single one of you for having made this year amazing. you're all wonderful.
