Just realized something with Don't Feed The Muse.

SPOILERS

Victoria was helping Alex survive, and praying that he wouldn't find out that she was the one who gave him a Muse. She lied to him, so he could trust her enough to survive. She knew that him finding out would start a domino chain ending in both of their deaths.

It goes to show how selfless Victoria was.

She died in guilt, forced to betray her best friend for her own survival, survival that she never got, yet her friend did. She didn't choose to betray Alex, but she chose to help him. And that saved his life.
