I have so many conflicting feelings about the possibility of FFX-3. Like I don't mind Chuami and Kurgum, and I don't mind Yuna leaving everyone behind to fight Sin again. I also don't mind Sin being beckoned back because of the farplane becoming unstable (something we knew in X-2).
What bothers me is the fact that they negated Yuna's character development. There is NO REASON that she would be back in the temples praying and shit
IF they rework some things for X-3, I hope they don't include the plot point of Tidus getting killed by a bomb from 2.5. The writers can just use the fact that the Farplane was already unstable for him to be back. Next, it's natural that Yuna would want to jump straight to fighting for the world again after seeing Sin come back, but don't include her being associated with the temples again like come on dude.
And MOST IMPORTANTLY I want Tidus to go away forever at the end. The Farplane being restabilized will result in everyone that was beckoned to return, including Tidus and Sin. I wanna see Auron and Jecht and Braska and other people who are dead come back to show how unstable the world is getting, and Seymour could come back in order to be the one to beckon Sin back. But oh my god, at the end they BETTER all die for realsies. If they do anything, I want it to be that.
This would be much better for everyone's character arc and if it doesn't happen, it'll retroactively make the stakes nonexistent.
