Sickness - While Kaelan won’t share this unless she trusts them,she does carry a rare disease that has cursed her family for generations now. Unknown of the cure, she tends to just live life as best as she can until it finally claims her too.

Battle Surge - After ruthlessly training every day from the age ten until now, Kaelan has learned to thrive on the adrenaline and power of fighting. Nearly to the point of addiction. She also hates to lose any true battle and will not stop until her rival is knocked down, admits defeat, or she is unconscious herself. When it comes to battles, that sweet smile of hers will turn manic and wild.

★ Saving up for a home, Kae has been on the look out for any odd jobs to help get through one night at a time. Delivery, guarding, exploration of caves, catering, and apprehending criminals. Whatever the task, so long as it is moral and legal.

★ Kaelan has grown up in a battle-heavy family, but that never deterred her from fascination in the calmer things in life. She sometimes dreams of traveling around the world to experience various cultures and perhaps make new friends!

★ Although highly skilled with an axe, Kaelan wishes to learn other weapon/classes. She lacks in agility/grace, so Dragoons and Samurai truly amaze her. Perhaps she could find a mentor of some sort to train her?

★ Kaelan knows little of her actual father. Only small stories from Oru who claims him to be a criminal. A man who only brought danger to her mother and children. She has a small curiosity to find him or learn more...

★During her travels, the young lady is hoping to find a doctor or someone in the medical field to help with her situation. Although most of her has accepted her fate, there’s still a bit of hope that things can change as she believes she may be the last member of her blood family.

Secrecy - It’s not the best idea to try and pry information from her about her past. It brings up her anxiety and will refuse any questions as she will become much more suspicious even if your intentions are pure. She remembers very little anyway.

Pescetarian - Noemi cannot stomach red meats and will become ill from consuming them. She prefers fish and vegetables/fruit for her diet.

Voice - Contains a bit of a wispy/airy effect to her voice no matter how loud she is (unless it becomes yelling). Adds to her shy composure.

The Bounty: There appears to be quite a bounty on the young lady. Nothing extravagant, but enough to perhaps make her capture actually worthwhile if seen around. Whether from a Free or Grand Company is uncertain, however the request is to keep her alive.

The Mentor: Noemi does have high skill when it comes to conjuring, but the practices are a bit of a blur from her past. Finding someone to help polish as well as teach her better ways of healing and protection would certainly be ideal.

The Guardian: Being on the more frail side, the Raen has been pondering on the idea of hiring some protection for her travels and small jobs. She would likely search around Ul'dah or Limsa for some assistance in missions or traveling back someplace.

The Rescue: NOT having someone to guard may lead to rough situations for Noemi. A harsh environment or ruthless enemies are bound to take a toll on her health with the chance of bringing it to a critical or an unconscious state. If luck is on her side, perhaps a strong hero will swoop in as her savior.

The Assistant: The young lady has a high interest in the more mature, experienced people who have given their life to researching, crafting, or anything dealing with focused knowledge. She would be very honored to have a job as a helper or even servant to someone like this.

Personality:

Melody at first seems to have a closed off personality mostly keeping to herself as she doesn’t open to others quiet easily, Orion was the first to see her break this shell. Trust is key for her so she might become wary of you at first glance but let her get to know you and she’ll come to. Like her trust, kindness also is key for her, and she doesn’t give it out willingly. Melody has been known to snap, from Orion experience, and she doesn’t back down. Once you push her buttons, she will fight with you. Some would say she’s emotional and its possibly true due to her holding back her feelings to others because she feels their emotions are more important than how she feels, but due to that she does eventually explode and its no one fault, but her own for not speaking up. She wears her heart on her sleeve always going to help others despite how she feels currently because she believes other people happiness, friends included, is more important to her than her own happiness.

Backstory: TW: Slight dark theme

Melody was raised by both her parents for a while before her mother decided to disappear and never came back. Around the age of 7 her and her father moved to Gridania, after an incident with a male Au ra took advantage of Melody when she was 6, where her father later met his now and current wife. Melody was very hesitant of her new mother even bringing her hell due to the new change. It only around 10 when she finally got use to her, but she still never called her mom or mother. Her new mother was pretty the best thing that her and her father ever had even if at times she did feel like she couldn’t do anything right around Melody because they weren’t the same race, but as time went on, they realized they were one of the same personality wise and bonded over festivals, her stepmother was the reason she took up being a bard.

When Melody was finally an adult she made a friend, her name was Orion. She was the one who approached her first cause Melody kept closing herself off, she was also the reason she got her to join the rest of the team, soon friends, when she found out she also possessed an echo. Melody was still intimidated by the team but loosen up when she saw she wasn’t the only Au ra, however despite being the same race her and Kirsten didn’t socialize for a while. Carol was the first to approach and greeted her even went as far as introducing the others, first being Melanie, Keres, Hinata and Kirsten. She did make a slight jab of saying “and you’ve already met Orion.” In hopes that Melody would loosen up. This was the beginning of her journey that she’ll never forget.
