My 2025 Art Summary

I'm still very busy as always. But I'm glad my pace has been fast enough to make more arts. There were two comics this year, eleven pages and five pages, which I selected two panels from each of them to show in the summary, of course, non monthly basis again. It's a bit surprised that most of them were made during the second half of the year. Thank you so much for you guys for your support and participation. It has always meant so much. ☺️✨

01 Under the Holiday Twilight

Inspired by the song 'Moonlit floor (Santa Baby Remix)' of Lisa, I captured an embracing scene of Ignoct during their cozy holiday evening.

02 Happy Birthday Aerith and Ignis

A celebration for the wonderful birthday twins. Drawing Aerith was pleasurable. I'd love to make more arts of her next year.

03 Can't afford to lose.

A repainting of my old work for Valentine's day. What if Noctis had a vision of Ignis bargaining for power and choosing to sacrifice his life in verse 2? I also wrote a fiction for it and posted in Ao3. I have to admit that Ignoct is my OTP. ☺️

04 A glaive on duty.

I made this for Nyxweek 2025, day 6 : sunset or day 7 : free day.

Making Nyx's fanart was challenging. He has several shallow wrinkles. Just some touches that made him a handsome grown-up, experienced and badass, but not old. It took me several months to make it right.

06 First time Gladnis

I made the sketch in 2023 for my mutuals then. It took me a long while to edit the sketch and color it. I wanted to deliver their expressions properly.

07 and 08 Reach

First time for FFXV remix, and I made this eleven-page Gladnis comic as a remixed of Hold onto me (when your life tears you apart) by MiraNjell. Unfortunately, none of my works got remixed. But participating was fun after all. I had a chance to draw something I had never done before such as 15-year-old Ignis in 07 and Gladiolus with strong feelings in 08.

09 and 10 Like father, like son

FFXV gift exchange event in 2025 was the gift of Eos. I made this Ignoct five-page comic for destinidestati with the recipient's original character, Spes Fausta, cameo. I drew something I had never done before too, for example, 19-year-old Prince Regis in 09. See the cameo and the look of 19-year-old Prince Noctis with his endgame hairstyle in the original post.

I made a tribute for Episode Ignis eighth's anniversary with his heartbroken expression in canon verse ending credits, but without his visors.

12 The King's riff

Inspired by a clip in X of King Regis' face model and actor, Jon Campling, playing a guitar, I finally make a fanart of The King playing a guitar too. His Majesty looked much younger than we can remember. Perhaps this happened a couple years before the bros' journey.

This is page 1 of what was to be the Ignoct comic ONLINE for an AU I had planned for the two. Sadly, because my inspiration for art (especially comic making) is very much in the dumps, I really don’t know if I’ll continue beyond this page in terms of a comic. (Could just be one of those bad days where I’m curious wtf I’m doing with my life and it might pass but who knows. It’s been a struggle to even write let alone draw lately.) Regardless, I was super happy with this page for different reasons, so I figure I’d show it. <3

This was done in SAI and PSP8 before I made the transition to Clip recently.

Reason why I am scanlating vol. 1 “again” is because the previous translation and scans were provided by @higharollakockamamie (thanks again for letting me use them!!!!) but I decided to start from scratch and properly clean the pages
