Ignis Headcanons: hear me out– Ignis playing videogames. Any flavour of genre, multiple genres.

I definitely could see him playing animal crossing and stardew valley!

In animal crossing he definitely spends alot of time trying to make his island look nice

hates tom nook.

I think my hottest FFXV take is that Luna and Noct loved each other, but they weren't /in/ love, you know? There's a reason Prompto calls it a marriage of convenience. Caring for someone and loving them doesn't necessarily equate to romantically loving them

So, I have this headcanon of Ignis and Ravus getting drunk and venting to each other. Since they're both in the same situation (doing everything in their power to avert the fate of their loved ones), they commiserate often 😓😛😂

iginis’ hands are always cold, especially at the very tips of his fingers. it isn’t an uncomfortable cold, and noctis doesn’t flinch when he feels them brush his skin, but it is something that is very distinctly ignis, something noctis has come to expect, to love, to crave. because they ground him when he’s feeling overwhelmed, lungs tight and ribs tense, shoulders rigid with the weight of regality; they calm him when he wakes with a sharp gasp and a vicious start, flesh trembling and breath fragmented, strands of ink clinging to his temples; they soothe him when his leg starts to ache after a long day: a deep, dull, dense sort of pain, fingers digging into stiff muscle and working the soreness from it in careful, calculated circles.

it is one of the many small comforts of home that noctis has come to appreciate.

Noctis

Sleep farter. He's woken himself up by farting before, so that's your problem now, too.

He's a... moody sleeper. Sometimes he grabs you to cuddle, and other times he pushes you away. He hogs the pillows and the blankets, but if you don't mind fighting, you can get them back. He also has a tendency to mumble in his sleep. Mind you, he does all this while ripping the most noxious ass you have ever smelled.

Prompto

How does Prompto sleep...?

... Violently. He wiggles in his sleep, and you're in the line of fire. He's the type that wakes up with mysterious bruises, but once you start to sleep with him, you understand where those bruises are coming from. It's a mystery how he gets any rest. Once you start sleeping with him, it's a mystery how you get any rest.

Ignis

You will never get used to sleeping with Ignis, but he will get used to sleeping with you. He doesn't go into a deep sleep until he feels safe around somebody. That's sweet!

... Once he hits that deep sleep, he doesn't move. Why does he look so gaunt? Is he breathing? His eyes look sunken in. You roll over, and it looks like he's been dead for three days. You find yourself checking to make sure he's still breathing. He's woken up to you holding a mirror under his nose.

Gladio

Gladio is nice to sleep with. He's muscular and tall, so when you lay on him, he's soft. He moves a normal amount, and he looks so peaceful. He's a sleep cuddler, so unless you run hot, it's heaven. You can fall asleep across the bed, and you'll still wake up in his arms.

... But he snores. Loud. You feel it in your chest. Get him to do a sleep study ASAP, because there's no way this is normal. God help you.

Noctis religiously collects the Eos-equivalent of the Farmer’s Almanac (for fishing) as well as the fishing magazines you can find around Lucis. However…he doesn’t stop at just almanacs/magazines for Lucis, oh no.

This man will go to absolutely absurd lengths to source almanacs from all sorts of countries - from Niflheim itself, to the heart of high sea cuisine that is Altissia.

He is, I dare say, a nerd about this. No one would ever guess this from his aloof demeanor - unless you are his dad, his brothers, or Luna. Dependent on the time period.
