Someone asking about your pets made brain go brrrr (I LOVE THEM BTW SUCH CUTIES) Would Sun & Moon/Robin ever get a pet? Or maybe even multiple pets?
And because I have a legal obligation to, would Eclipse ever get a pet?
So, technically not an answer, but I need to get the thought out anyhow: Not a pet but there's just one little bird regular at the little birdhouse/ feeder Sun built, and Y/N tends to be the one refilling the food there. So this bird recognizes them and there's some amount of careful trust between bird and human. And the thought that Sun or Moon, though extra funny if it's Moon, would just one day watch them sit on the ground near the feeder and just talk to the bird. Moon would just quietly wheeze before snapping a picture and recording a short video (for blackmail reasons), then just calls them out with a "Birds of a feather, I see"
I'm not sure tbh simply because I am not sure how uncomfortable it would be for the boys to have fur/ feathers/ bedding get stuck in their joints
Sun has a little vendetta with cats, anyhow, so any cat in his life will have an uphill battle to fight to convince him of their cuteness. It's not impossible, but also not entirely easy fhdjs
Other than that, if not for the joint issue, any pet is on the table. Just, maybe not a parrot - a pet that can snitch on you is not the best pet for a secret agent
