His name WAS Staran. He is dead.

He was the leader of the Masqued. They were an organization...that took wrigglers and...would endocrine them into their cause. Routinely they would cull the original lusus and place you with a Masqued approved lusus. The wrigglers who were chosen were often defects, or too aggressive. I was blind. Which is why I was chosen.

One might believe this was a good cause. But it was far from it. As I grew older, Statan worked his way into gathering non-subjug trolls. Still wrigglers, or very young adults.

But Staran is dead, and the cult has since....disbanded. why bring him up now? It is almost the....anniversary....of his death.
