I was re-reading Scandinavia And the World and found the entry on Denmark and how men and women were encouraged to start same-sex romances as a way of practicing romance between couples without the risk of pregnancy

and Hans Christian Andersen kept flirting with men well into adulthood. Even though being gay was technically illegal.

..........is this why Nasuverse Andersen looks like an actual CHILD?! Servants are supposed to look like they did at their peak, but public perception can affect how they appear. Which means??? Does Anderson look short bc he was viewed as incredibly childish for keeping up his same sex romances into adulthood?

or do they just want us to believe he looked like a child as an adult? with a stupidly deep voice?

I prefer one of these to the other. (also the public belief that Salieri killed Mozart is why he’s an Avenger. the fact that he DIDN’T actually do it is why he has Innocent Monster. but public opinion totally changes how a heroic spirit is summoned)
