Maid Day feat. Constantine and Douman
大遅刻したコン陛下誕生日絵 おめでとうございました!
can someone who plays JP explain to me how Constantine's NP works because looking at the values on gamepress it seems.......really really redundant.
For those who don't know, FGO uses additive values for Defense buffs. To EXTREMELY tldr, this is a very bad design choice that means "100% Defense up" literally means "reduce all damage by 100%" regardless of how many attack buffs the other side has.
which....while I get defense debuffs exist, seems extremely redundant to throw both a massive damage cut and an invincible charge on top of that if you're going to make them both only last 1 turn just like the defense buff.
Giving a character a teamwide 100% defense support NP is definitely a very cool solution to the way Ignore Invincible being overused means something like Jeanne's NP is no longer reliable, same way Roland having both Invincible and 100% defense up is a really cool way of implementing his diamond skin...but to restate, am I missing something? Because the damage cut and invincible charge seem pointless as a result. Even factoring in defense debuffs, i would think that's why the overcharge effect exists to raise even higher than 100%.
So...AM i missing something here? Cause I really hope I am.
