Anyways, things to know:

1. I am aware that my willingness to “treat every flaw in a piece of media as an unforgivable sin that seemingly eclipses any and all positive aspects” says more about me than anything I’m criticizing

1.5 That said I actually try to keep my negativity self contained, believe it or not.I only even started using this blog to vent frustrations not to necessarily rope anyone else into them, which is why I’ll often not use any tags that aren’t directly and entirely relevant. Relatedly: If i do something like leave a comment on a post then delete it, that’s why, because I immediately regretted spread my negativity to people who didn’t ask for it.

2. All asks are presumed as being okay with a public response. If otherwise please add (No Response) at the bottom of the ask. I see every ask I get, don’t worry if I don’t respond it just means i’ve got nothing meaningful to respond with. As stated above i ask you be considerate with the frequency uou send them if you send multiple. Also keep in mind the more anonymous asks I receive the less likely it is i will take the time to address every one of them.

3. God this site is cruel about what posts you make get attention. Unrelatedly most of the stuff i give a the most fcks about is under “writing shit” or character/writing/video game analysis.

3.5 Tangential to that, the three ‘tiers’ I tag art with have absolutely nothing to do with what I think that art’s quality is and is purely how much I like it. To be clear: Nothing to do with quality, just a pure metric of my own happy chemical.

4. Thank christ for Saucenao. Artist source will always be under the original tags as "artist: X". If i can only find a pixiv number it’ll be “artist: [Pixiv id number]”. If you see your art and take issue DM me to have it removed; I always try to avoid using art for any reason whose artist source I cannot find but if I end up with no alternative it'll simply be "artist: unknown"

5. While they are universally shit, any and all meme edits I make (usually tagged with "I made a thing") you can feel free to download/use/repost on other sites for yourself.

The Kushala call out post (lol)

Kushala in wilds might be fine, good even. He was pretty alright in Rise. But honestly, when I saw Kushala in the wilds expansion trailer, which was hype until then, all i could feel was "ew" cuz his incarnation in World was so, SO horrendously bad.

(And this isn't even including him spending close to no time on the ground, denying huge areas of the map, his arena basically built to make the tornados as annoying as possible)

The fact that he has a gimmick that you can only deal with by getting his set is so.... asinine. Its also doubly ridiculous cuz it also only ends up being super effective against him lol. I love monster hunter, which i hope is obvious by how much ive drawn and talked about this game but dear lord i hate this damn dragon.

Now more than ever i think it's a very good time to say, i have to roll my eyes every time people say something along the lines of "Persona needs to be about adults next, Atlus have to accept their core audience arent kids anymore"

as if Persona 1, 2, 3, and 4 didnt all deal with extremely heavy themes like lost innocence, grief, and fear of adulthood. As if it wasnt just specifically 5 that was an immature "lets save the day guys!" childish fantasy with (because the writer of the GOOD games left after 4 and it shows)

We already have persona games that deal with complex adult themes. They're called Persona 2 and Persona 3. (for the latter i obviously mean the original, not the fucking remake with all the edges sanded off.

Phoenix Wright would also have a wolf fursona, but he would be very well-designed with an interesting color palette and be depicted so completely differently from Phoenix as like, a doctor or something, that you'd never know it was his.

I'll take this opportunity to comment on the many requests I've gotten to do the fursonas of the many furry or animal fighting game characters like Kuma Tekken or the Rivals of Aether characters. I haven't done them because they either aren't capable of understanding what a fursona is, or if they are, would just be confused since it's what they already are. But Sonic is an exception because if you told Sonic what a fursona is, he would be like, "That's awesome! Mine's gonna be a cheetah!"

Ky would think very carefully about his fursona, probably taking a few months to settle on a final design. Ultimately, he'd want something that reflects both his self-image but also a bit of wish fulfillment, something both regal and fitting for a knight/king, but also noble; strong, yet capable of gentleness. To that end, Ky's fursona would be a buck with white fur and yellow antlers. His build would be a bit larger and more masculine than his true appearance, perhaps even having a beard since he could never really grow one, but the proportions really wouldn't be excessive or sexualized, since Ky is capable of self-awareness and isn't the type to overdo it.

Leo's fursona would also be a white-and-gold buck that is way bigger, buffer, and hairier than Ky's in every way with a knee-length cock that makes Ky's fursona look like a twink

This but actually, I’m even frustrated when they don’t do it. Like in Baldur’s Gate III where every single companion is a great character and a fantastic romantic option but beyond the snarky comment about them flirting with another party member, they never interact with someone who isn’t you. The only counter exemple I can think of is Lae’zel and Astarion having sex during the party if you didn’t chose any of them but it’s never referenced again beyond the conversation with them in the morning.

I want to pair Shadowheart and Lae’zel. I want to force Minthara and Gale to be fiercely in love. I want to contrast Astarion’s fear of intimacy and Karlach’s touch starvation so bad… also Wyll deserves to get pegged by a bear.

Let me play with them like dolls, Larian!
