So in the family wide debate of what the parameters are for separating everything in the universe into a Sandwich or a Salad, it was decided that the main deciding factors are order and a factor of unity, which mark a combination of ingredients as a sandwich, where if something needs to be removed from its container, or does not have one, it is a salad.
