1920s Antique Fiberco Laundripak Mailer Storage Case

Price: $59

Description: Laundry mailers were used around the 1920s to mail college student's laundry back home to be washed. A reversible return address label was used on the top of the case to send back and forth from home to college. Above address label was a pocket for stamps. So cool! Great display piece/prop/storage.

Mailer is made of a hard-coated fiber board. Address and stamp pockets are framed and have rivets/hardware. Corners of box have rivets all around. Handle is leather and two brown belts cross in the front to keep lid in place (still attached and solid). The inside is clean! For being almost 100 years old, case is in great shape. Please look over photos for any imperfections! Laying on it's belly, case measures 6 1/4"H x 111/2"D x 21"W.
