I was wondering, do you have any recommendations for stories where Logan and Weevil are together? (I beleive I've exhausted their 2-page AO3 tag.) Thanks!

Do you guys know any stories with another ending for the alterna prom? I'd especially like to read a version where Veronica doesn't interrupt Logan and he says what he'd do differently about the summer, and, of course, where V is more receptive. Thanks!

So I was shocked - SHOCKED I TELL YOU!!! - to discover that there aren’t nearly as many of these fics as I expected. I think it’s because the ‘epic speech’ is so often incorporated into fics that we assumed there’d be a lot of fix-it fic.

Also, our POV is that V was plenty receptive to the drunk musings of one Logan Echolls - as evidenced by her return to his hotel room the following day. It’s just that she, being Veronica, needed time to process things.

And now we’re thinking of Veronica’s crying face on the elevator and…GIVE US ALL THE FIX-IT FIC!!

It’s so familiar, and suddenly they are in the hallway at school, or playing video games, or giggling in the pool, splashing Lilly on her deck chair and making her curse like a sailor. Logan blinks, half-expecting him to disappear, but instead Duncan throws his head back and laughs. Just like he used to.Notes: If you were a sucker for the glimpses of L and Duncan’s friendship then this is absolutely the story you need. Both Logan and Duncan get the closure they deserve and are able to check in on one another. And it’s good, good, good.

How interpretations of characters shifted and morphed over time. The Logan and Veronica in this fic are barbed - sharp and angry and also a little bit in love with each other. When Duncan comes back to town they all yell and scream and try to figure out what the hell they actually want.    

Home Is Where the Heart IsAuthor: Shealynn88Pairing: Duncan Kane, Lilly 2.0, the Manning family, Veronica, WeevilRating: PG-13Genre: Drama / FamilySetting: Future, AUSpoilers: 2.11, “Donut Run”Chapters: 1Word Count: ~10,000Status: CompleteSummary: After five years the law catches up with Duncan, and little Lilly Kane finds herself with a new family to adjust to.Notes: A (very plausible) scenario of what could have happened to Lilly if Duncan was apprehended on the run, Shealynn does a great job using Lilly’s POV - it’s childlike in its confusion and while Lilly doesn’t know who these people are, we do and either cheer for her or fear for her depending on who the little girl encounters. Has a pretty pro-Duncan stance that’s believable (as in he’s a very good father) - but FYI if that’s a thing of dislike.

I was wondering if you could recommend any good Veronica Mars fusion fics --- preferably with the VM characters in a sci-fi, fantasy or urban fantasy setting? I really would really like to see something that plays with the characters various jobs (Logan as a pilot, Weevil as a mechanic, V as a detective/lawyer/librarian etc.) if it exists.

The emotions in this piece are so good, it’s one of my fav Duncan POV fics (not the whole time guys don’t run away), and if the Duncan/Veronica sex is going to turn you off do it for Logan Echolls and Lilly Kane who both shine like the beacons of light and wisdom and glory and love that they are in this piece. Also, the work confronts the whole ~Weevil thought Lilly was being abused by Logan~ ordeal which is a dream come true because the show was always too lazy to do it. “Weevil has to admit, he’s never quite seen anyone look the way Logan Echolls looks in that moment. Furious and lovesick and fascinated and manic all at once. He could never come close to unpeeling all the layers in that glance, and he suddenly has an inkling why Veronica can’t seem to break free of him, why Lilly couldn’t leave him behind. There’s something about him that asks to be examined, that clings, and Weevil finds he isn’t entirely immune to it.” [high pitched screaming] ALSO LOGAN CALLS WEEVIL ELI AND I’M IN LOVE SEDATE ME TBH //also// this fic talks a lot about lilly kane and there’s a giant tree branch in my eye and anyway I have to end this note here because my notes are insanely long and ridic so just know that I’m screaming really loudly in my room right now.

I love season one and I read a fic about Veronica and Logan talking about his scars a long time ago so I was wondering if you had any lists or stories that have Veronica exploring Logan's scars or at least addressing the abuse?
