Um... what's fic swaps?
Say you want something Red/Reader, and I want something Stretch/Reader. Then you’d write the Stretch/Reader drabble or one-shot, and I’d write the Red/Reader one. It’s just a fun little thing to do for one another.
Like, @nighttimelights-prompted wrote me a glorious UF!Grillby/Reader drabble a while back, so now I’m 2k words deep in a SF!Paps/Reader one-shot for her. ;)

What’s that?
It’s the annual Highlander Fanfic swap and it’s one of my favorite things about fall/winter.
It’s a relatively small swap and the folks who run and participate in it are super cool and I’d love to see it grow a little this year. I’m going to try and make a fancier post later but for now, if you’re at all interested in writing fic for an older show about History and Angst and Cutting People’s Heads Off, this might be the swap for you!

The Highlander Holiday Shortcuts fest has started posting! Four stories up today, one of which is for me, so I am super excited to go and read it now that I am home and at my computer. Please please please do go check it out. It's a small fest, but more stories will go up in the next few days and everyone involved is lovely.
