THE WONKY BOOKSHELF! that entire scene stuck with me when I read it ages ago and then I forgot the name of the fic and tried searching for variations on cmbyn and wonky bookshelf (lol i didnt find it) and when I stumbled upon it again (by literally going through every single cmbyn fic and word searching for “bookshelf”) I saved it as a bookmark under wonky bookshelf fic.
OMG YAY. I love the wonky bookshelf a lot - writing stuff like that makes me happy.
