I mean, you may not have scrolled far enough back on my blog to see it, but I swear to god Black Sails is just about the most perfect thing that was ever made for tv. (true fact: part of being a Black Sails fan is that you’re contractually obligated to try and get everyone else to watch it) It is very full of Feelings and Events and Happenings of Consequence, so if that’s not where your COVID-times head is at, I get it.
Okay, so I have definitely heard of Black Sails, but I have no idea what it actually is? And for some reason that I cannot explain and might actually be inexplicable (again, because I do not know anything about this show), I associate it with Monty Python? Which... I have never been into. So as a result, whenever I’ve heard or seen ‘Black Sails,’ my reaction has been meh.
Also, unrelated, I almost just pasted a shirtless photo of Barack Obama here instead of a link to my asks, because that is the last thing I copied to paste to someone.
Can you imagine? Just like ending this post with that like THANKS! That would have been hella confusing. But also my eyes are actually tearing laughing at it because I saw how it looked for that split second. ANYWAY I’m gonna shut up.
