i should be doing my work right now, but some thoughts just hit me:

mikel jr (merino) and david being mikel's precious sons due to the spanish connection

merino and big gabi clashing in like one of the first training sessions and gabi somehow mashing up merino's shoulder

based on photographic and videographic evidence, big gabi and david raya are somewhat in love

merino and big gabi now making up after the first clash if the piggyback rides are any proof

what does this all mean?

this all means that somewhere in my brain, there is a fic where big gabi and merino clash for literally whatever reason (haven't figured it out yet, might keep it sports related might not) and brew a sort of mini rivalry where they don't really like each other, more on merino's side that gabi's side. BUT that all has to change when merino's baby brother (wtf i just googled their ages real quick and raya's older than merino???) starts to crush on gabi and fall in love and now this rivarly has just turned personal, because its not enough that you fucked my shoulder up and now you're trying to fuck my brother???

cue chaos as things don't seem to go gabi and raya's way not knowing that raya's brother is messing around behind the scenes. meanwhile saliba is elsewhere messing around the scenes but for good instead. but still messing, he's really a horrible wingman.

#could make this omegaverse just to lean into the whole alpha dominance thing between them #but i feel like a university au would be funnier #just imagine merino sneaking around campus glaring at gabriel from behind walls with a a sling round him #and elsewhere saliba is trying to act nonchalant sitting behind a tree and giving gabi a thumbs up as he flirts with raya #ficc rambles

feel kinda guilty because my parents think i’ve been locked in on uni work since the holidays began when i’ve actually just been fic writing this whole time
