"Relax. You're gonna be on Smith like a tiger on a pumpkin full of raw meat before you know it." Nate declares cheerfully.
Mack winces. Sid doesn't even look up from where he's sacked out on the couch with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a joint. ("I'm old. Body hurts. I need my medicine. You want a hit?" He'd yawned to Will, who cringes every time he thinks of the way he'd squeaked when Sid brought out his stash box.)
"But I've never... I just don't want to embarrass myself." Mack mumbles, anxiously checking the door to make sure Will hasn't come back from his Chipotle run.
"You're overthinking it. Just go with the flow."
"But-"
"The insecurity in this room is unbelievable right now." Sid sighs, with an exaggerated noise of irritation. He very dramatically and obviously mutes Trailer Park Boys on the TV and sits up, turning to give Mack a scrutinizing look before nodding. "You're a good looking kid. If I were younger or you were older, I'd run you through the basics."
"Oh my god, I am begging you to stop talking!"
