Christmas in Canada is almost exactly like it is in Florida. There's a gorgeous tree, a pile of presents, and a ham glazing in the oven, but everything outside of Nattie's stunning bay window is glittering white diamonds. Now, Rhea's seen snow before, a couple of times in a couple of cities, and she understands the magic and the beauty of it, but damn, she's still freezing.
Luckily, Nattie's got this huge fireplace. All dark wood and light stone, and looking like something straight from a Hallmark movie. The mantle is trimmed with a thick garland, its length dotted with vibrant poinsettias and shimmering silver ornaments, and above the continuously dancing flame hangs three hand-stitched stockings.
Nattie's is pink and black, of course, her classic winged heart symbol emblazoned on the front. Rhea's is crimson red with a black cuff, the scales of justice outlined with dark and smoky sequins, and for Damian, a purple boot with a black cuff and his infamous notched bow and arrow symbol sewn in midnight satin. They're stuffed full with more gifts, things from each other and for each other, and this is where Rhea spends most of her vacation, curled up in front of the fire, staring at those stockings and softly smiling.
She's cuddled up to Damian now, his strong arm wrapped tight around her as she huddles into his radiant warmth. Nattie's on his other side in a mirrored position, her head resting lightly on his shoulder, her fingers tucked tentatively under the hem of his loose tee. She can still sense Nattie's nervousness, her hesitancy when it comes to Damian and their budding relationship, but that's just because it's new. She doesn't know Damian the way Rhea does, doesn't know just how easy it is for him to fall, almost as easy as it is for Nattie, but they'll show her together, given time.
That's what this vacation is for, anyway. What every weekend is for. What every stolen moment, hasty dinner, and longing touch is for, and that's building this bond, creating this comfort, forging new friendships, and discovering new devotion.
It felt almost impossible after Summer Slam, after the betrayal of Dom and Finn, but Nattie took them in when they had nowhere to go. She opened her home and her heart, and she coddled them, protected them, spoiled them, when she absolutely didn't have to. She had no loyalty to Damian, no affection for Rhea outside of long dulled memory, and she still let them in.
It's something that Rhea will always be grateful for, something she'll always cherish, that easy acceptance, that genuine sincerity. It's priceless, like Nattie is priceless, and even though it's only been four months, things are starting to feel settled. They're starting to feel normal. They're starting to feel right.
She's scared of it at first, scared of just how much she loves Nattie, scared of how simple it was to let all of those old feelings rush back to the surface, and why shouldn't she be scared? After everything that happened with Dom, after everything that happened with Finn, after everything that's happened in the last two years, why shouldn't she be afraid?
And then she remembers, Nattie doesn't break hearts (not anymore, not after that first time), oh no. Nattie is the one who gets heartbroken, and maybe it's a terrible comfort. Maybe it's twisted and wrong, but Nattie doesn't leave, Nattie doesn't stop. The people around her leave, the people around her stop, just like Rhea did, just like Roman did, just like Rhea is sure to do again, but for now, things are perfect.
She burrows deeper into Damian's side, his whispered breath tickling over her fine hair and making her shiver.
"Are you still cold?" Damian chuckles, the sound dark and delicious as it trickles down her spine, and Rhea can't help but to shiver again.
"Still cold?" Rhea whines. "I haven't stopped being cold since we got here. I might never truly be warm again."
Damian's hand slips into her hair, his fingers lost and tangled in her ponytail as he tilts her head back, and she gets a flash of his wicked grin before Damian seizes her mouth.
She welcomes him instantly, parts her lips, and sighs as an eruption of warmth immediately begins to pool in her belly. It spreads from there, a burning desire blazing in her veins and bubbling in her bones, and she can feel her cheeks go red with fevered lust as Damian licks and nips and devours.
She's breathless when he pulls away, dazed and a little dizzy, and his cosmic onyx eyes are shining like a million stunning stars. "Better?"
Rhea's lost in his eyes, lost in his kiss, lost in his presence, and she tries to come up with something snarky to say, something confident and sensual, but it all gets caught somewhere between her brain and her lips, and she merely nods and hums instead. "Mhmm."
"Good," he purrs, his voice blanketing her skin like whiskey velvet as goosebumps break out over the surface of her arms.
He turns to Nattie, the full force of his gaze and attention now settling on her, and Nattie's pulse flutters in her throat. "What about you, hermosa? Are you cold?"
Now, Nattie's a Calgarian by birth, Canadian by blood, and it would take a lot more than a White Christmas to get her feeling a chill, but she knows what comes next, and she wants. "Positively frigid," she says, her lush lips parted in anticipation.
Damian pulls her in closer, leans in slow and sure, and Nattie trembles when his lips finally brush hers. His mouth is warm and giving where it moves against Nattie's, his tongue teasing as it traces the plump curve of her cupid's bow. He dips inside, and Nattie gasps, her nails digging lightly into his skin as she clutches at his stomach, and Damian growls as he dives deeper. She's so goddamn sweet, so pliant and soft in a way that Rhea isn't, in a way that he isn't, and every shy twirl of her tongue sets something feral and hungry rattling at the cage of his chest.
He keeps it reigned in, though, like he always does with her, afraid to show her too much, too fast, afraid of scaring her off, but Nattie is built of sturdier stuff, has a hidden chasm of want and need that's all her own, and she can feel the tension in his body, the strain of his holding back.
So, she gives him a gift.
Permission.
She gathers her courage, the fear of rejection and ruin always real, always possible, but she pushes it away, brave and unbreakable. She surges forward, sinks her tongue into his mouth to pillage and plunder all that luxurious heat and warmth, and his palm spans nearly the whole of her back as he drags her impossibly closer.
Relief courses through her, victory swelling in her breast, and she giggles and grins against his supple lips. She nibbles along the curve of them both, bites and tugs at his succulent pink flesh, and Damian groans. "How long until we need to finish dinner?"
Nattie glances at the clock above the fireplace. "About an hour, hour and a half."
"Good," he says, his grin wide and wolfish as he draws Nattie onto his lap. "That's plenty of time."
Damian's already hard beneath her, his length caught tight against her silk covered core, and she grinds down into him as her body sings. "Plenty of time for what?" she asks, only one acceptable answer on her mind.
"Plenty of time for me wreck that pretty little outfit."
He quickly extricates himself from Rhea's hold, rises to his feet with Nattie still in his arms, and she's got no choice but to squeal and wrap her legs around his trim waist. He makes for the bedroom, Rhea hot on their heels, and with every step they take, Rhea can hear just how wet she's become, can feel the squelch of it naughty between her thighs.
Damian tosses Nattie onto the bed with another shriek of delight, his larger form following her down and engulfing her slight frame.
This is bound to be quite the show, Rhea thinks to herself, one hand slipping casually beneath the waistband of her pants. Merry Christmas to me.

It's Danny's turn to host the Christmas truce. Apparently it's law that it must be in his lair, but he doesn't have one in the ghost zone. Now he has to figure out what to do about his ghost hunting parents.

Damon Grey has had enough of seeing his daughter unhappy, so he teams up with the Fentons to give his daughter the best gift ever - a ghost.

Rhea's driving, her hands on the wheel confident and casual, just like she is, and their rented tires crunch rhythmically over the slush and snow of the icy road.
They're on their way to some airport in some state for a series of holiday house shows, but the name of the town hardly matters to her. She's too busy living her dream, too busy following her destiny, and the pretty little blonde in her passenger seat only makes the adventure more exciting.
She never planned on teaming with Liv, never planned on falling in love with her, but those big baby blues and that wild jubilant laugh took Rhea right to her knees.
There was no fighting it, no denying it, and even all these months later, the delicate fingers currently running patterns over her denim covered thigh still have the ability to make her shiver. Goosebumps prickle over her arms, the hair there standing on end as her stomach flips and flops and the familiar tinkling of silver bells pours joyous from the speakers.
Liv's nails dig into her leg, and she sits up a little straighter in her seat. "Oh, I love this song!"
She reaches for the radio, cranks the volume until Rhea can feel the beat ringing in her bones, and Mariah Carey's iconic voice fills the car with her own special brand of holiday cheer.
"I don't want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need..."
Liv's backup vocals quickly join Mariah's, and she shimmies her shoulders and bobs her head in time to the music, an impromptu concert for an audience of one.
"I just want you for my own. More than you could ever know. Make my wish come trueeee," she holds the note on her last word, extending the vowels until she's practically out of breath, and then she points directly at Rhea. "All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuuuu."
Rhea's eyes dart to Liv, her gaze caught like a shimmering spark in the afternoon sun, and that trademark smile is back, bigger and brighter than ever. She's so full of energy and joy, her happiness and positivity practically overflowing until Rhea has no choice but to feel it herself. It's that bubble in her belly, that buzz in her blood, that sugar-spun sweetness that coats her lips and drips from her kiss, and it's all Liv.
She's damn near infectious.
Which is why, as Liv sings her little holiday heart out, Rhea's own fills with fond affection, and she snaps her fingers in time to the catchy tune.
There's simply no resisting it.
"This is your spot. Hit it, girl!"
Rhea doesn't need any more prompting, the lyrics permanently seared in her mind, and her husky Aussie accent wraps around the words like smoke. "Cause I just want you here tonight, holding on to me so tight." She pauses to take Liv's hand, brings it to her lips to kiss, and her peppermint lotion tingles against Rhea's mouth. "What more can I do? Oh, baby, all I want for Christmas is youuuuu."
"Mami?"
The video cuts off suddenly, and Liv jumps as Dominik stirs lazily in their shared California king. There are tears drying on her face, more pooled like diamond dew on her lashes, and she wipes furiously at them before turning to Dom. "Don't worry, Daddy, it's just me," Liv coos, her tone high pitched and saccharine rich. "Go back to sleep."
She reaches out to caress his shoulder, her hand smoothing over the bare skin of his tattooed arm in a soothing motion, but he's out again before her palm even touches him.
Still, she waits.
Waits as his quietly even breathing shuffles down into snuffled snores, and she turns back to her phone, waits another minute or two, just to be sure, and then she plays the video again.
Rhea's driving, her hands on the wheel confident and casual, just like she is...
