I finally have a day off, so I got out of bed (way too early because what is sleeping?), made coffee, started doing my laundry, cleaned the kitchen, then checked tumblr.

I found a fanfic, started reading, went to sip my coffee and realized my mug was empty, looked at my watch, and it's been TWO HOURS. I DIDN'T EVEN HEAR THE LAUNDRY MACHINE SING IT'S SILLY SONG.

Really though, Fiddauthor fans, if you haven't read There is a Light that Never Goes Out by readingalot123456 on AO3, then you should go read it. I'm not even halfway through it. It's very long and absolutley beautiful.

Finally went through and proofread my mostly-canon-compliant Fiddauthor fic! Wooh!

I made it to the portal incident in my mostly canon compliant fiddauthor fanfic and literally sobbed writing it.

There is some manipulative canon-style billford content because I couldn't make it canon without a love triangle. I don't like them as a ship- but I love them as a divorce. I made the very small amount of billford there is very obviously manipulative because it's obviously not in any way a healthy relationship and I don't want people thinking it is. I think y'all are smarter than that and know that, but I need the triangle to suffer.

All the content is very non-explicit, but there is one small easy to skip section of gore, and one small easy to skip SA part. (The SA is not by any main characters and I physically cannot write explicitly on that subject or I vomit, so it is awful, but not at all explicit).

There are warnings and tags and explanations of when to skip in the chapter notes, as well.

Status Update - Maybe it’s Not Too Late fic

The final chapter is almost here!  I still have some revision to do but the bones of it are written and the illustration is finished!  I’m aiming to have it up on Monday evening.   Love and hugs to everyone who’s been following along, to those who still would like to catch up, and to those who are just starting now or who might be waiting until the entire fic is up :).  I’m grateful to you all for reading what has turned out to be more of a monster project than I ever expected.   Link if anyone needs it. <3, Mo

*Heavy breathing I did it!  It’s up.   No art again but next time for sure.   (I’ve had the sketch for the last part done since the beginning ;)) Overall synopsis:  A post-weirdmageddon asexual (vaguely romantic) Fiddauthor fic in which revelations occur, a confession goes awry, some unfinished business reemerges in the form of a raging pterodactyl, and chaos ensues.   Chapter synopsis:   Stan returns to the hospital feeling somewhat better after his family talked him into going home for a proper night's rest. Dipper and Mabel arrange for some alone time for Ford and Fiddleford but things don't play out as they had hoped.

Warnings:   Torture mention.   Notes:  I have no delusions.  This is purely me dumping a bunch of my own feelings onto some fictional characters.  But hey, that’s what writing is for, right?  (OK, so it serves other purposes but for now, this is the one it shall serve…  With a side of fluff and a large of tears.)

Status update - Maybe it’s Not Too Late fic

As Much as I’d love to have it up tonight, it’s not going to make it in time.  I still have a bit more narrative to add and some revision to go over and it’s a bit of a longer part.  I’m going to aim for having it up tomorrow evening.   (Mostly I had to set it aside for a bit because I kept getting too preachy about some ideas and it added nothing of value to the story.  Putting it away for a bit let me see that those parts needed to be cut.)   Anyway, only two parts left and I have almost all of it written!  I’m pretty happy with how the ending is shaping up ;).   Link if anyone needs it.
