This weekend for the first time I play in the pro 50+ division at a disc golf tournament. I have not played in a tournament in what I would say would be close to 10 years. Life is like that. I don’t think I played a round at one point for almost 2 or three years. And then I was motivated by a friend and my wonderful wife to reignite that fire. Since then, I have improved my broken putting, my approach to the basket is better, and I throw farther and straighter than I did those 10 years ago. Less than perfect obviously, but vastly better than where I was. So I’m playing my home course and I know I’m going to get smoked like a five dollar blunt, but I feel ready and confident.
