Whatever happened to fidi?
This is something I’ve actually been wanting to talk about for awhile. Basically what happened was it wasn’t the right time. I didn’t have a crew to film it and I put too much pressure on close personal friends to help out with filming. Then we had problems with actors quitting at the last minute and no one really caring about the show so unfortunately I had to call it off in October which really hurt.
For a few months after I had to cancel the show I slipped back into a really dark place because I had failed. I had let down the fans the we had online. I had let down the actors that we had cast and I had let down myself. I felt like I couldn’t ever write again because there was no point to it.
What I can tell you now though is that I am working on another show that I created and I’m currently writing called Work In Progress about two best friends living in Manhattan and going to college in Manhattan. Both girls are gay and we also will have many more LGBTQIA+ characters within the show so it will be just like FiDi only with my own characters that I’ve created and I hope you’ll support that show too because I really love it and think it’s good and I won’t stop until a network picks it up because I believe in it so much. I won’t let anything get in the way of Work In Progress succeeding and I promise that.
