Young Hercules 1.2 Between Friends (The Treasure of Zeus: Part 2)
Iolaus: Did you get my report on the Kingdom of Cirilia?
Fiducius: Yeah, I looked it over. Nice work.
Iolaus: Thanks dad... Why is everyone staring at me?
Hercules: You just called Fiducius "Dad". You said, 'Thanks, dad.'
Iolaus: What? No, I didn't. I said 'Thanks, man.'
Fiducius: Do you see me as a father figure, Iolaus?
Iolaus: No, if anything I see you as a bother figure cause you're always bothering me!
Jason: Hey, show your father some respect.
Fiducius: The thing about youth culture is...
Fiducius: ...I don't understand it.

[CHARACTER] Fiducius (aka "Fiddleface") Played By: Ross Duncan Designation: Pooper of Parties, Enforcer of Rules, and Collector of Tuition Fees Appears In: 1.02 - Between Friends; 1.04 - Herc and Seek; 1.06 - Teacher's Pests; 1.11 - Battle Lines I; 1.32 - Cram-Ped; 1.34 - Get Jason
Surprisingly little is known about Fiducius. He's the Academy's bursar, though he's also acted as headmaster when Cheiron is away, a tutor, and the overseer of detentions. He loves structure and abhors chaos. He also has (had? It's never explained what became of him) a son named Pythias, who was a former cadet at Cheiron's. His perceived failure to his son, who fell into some bad situations to the point of suspension and running away without graduating, is the very reason why Fiducius is so strict with the cadets.
I like Fiducius. Not just because watching him get riled up or frustrated is actually rather amusing, but because he reminds me of one of the professors at the university I went to. Like Fiducius, he's pretty strict and a mostly very no-nonsense kind of guy, but he's that way because he wants the students who take his classes to succeed.
I do think that Fiducius was one of those not-used-enough characters, though. Also, it would've been nice to see him find and make amends with Pythias.
